Liturgist: Beloved of God, come and gather for we stand where the disciples once stood: on the mountain of worship, in the presence of the Risen Christ, hearing again His final and forever-word.
People: All authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus. He calls us not to fear, but to follow. He sends us not in our strength, but in His. He invites us into a mission that reaches every neighbor, every nation, every generation.
Liturgist: So come with hearts ready to worship, with ears ready to hear, with lives ready to go.

Opening Prayer
Holy and Risen Lord, We gather today as your disciples gathered long ago some confident, some uncertain, all in need of your presence. Speak again your word of authority, that we may trust your reign over every corner of our lives.
Pour out your courage where fear has settled. Pour out your clarity where doubt has lingered. Pour out your spirit so that we may go to our families, our neighborhoods, our workplaces, and to every place you send us. Make us faithful witnesses of your grace. Teach us to baptize in your name, to disciple with your love, and to walk in the assurance that you are with us now and always.
