Opening Prayer
Holy and gracious God, You call us to your vineyard, to your work, to your way. Yet we confess that our words and our actions do not always agree. We have said “yes” and walked away, and we have said “no” and later turned back. Still, your mercy meets us, Your Spirit stirs us, and your grace draws us near. Speak again, Lord. Speak with authority that awakens obedience. Speak with compassion that softens our resistance. Speak with truth that leads us into repentance and life. Make us a people who do your will not only in what we say, but in how we live, so that our lives bear witness to your kingdom and our work in your vineyard brings glory to your name.
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
