Opening Prayer
Gracious God, You gather us this morning not only to worship you, but to be shaped by Your Spirit for the work ahead. Open our hearts to Your presence, quiet our distractions, and center us in Your love.
As we prepare to go into our neighborhoods, remind us that you are already there—moving, healing, restoring, and calling. Make us attentive to the needs around us, courageous in compassion, and joyful in service.
Bless this time of worship. Let Your Word challenge us, Your Spirit empower us, and your grace send us out as bearers of hope. May everything we do today—here in this sanctuary and later in our community—reflect the heart of Christ.
We offer this prayer in His name. Amen.
